A Blind Date with a Book

On 20/04/19 Bookish Species, hosted its first ever event “A Blind Date with a Book” at Page Book Store, in Ikeja, Lagos. Nigeria.

People came out to chill with fellow bookish people & lovers, had fun, made new friends, ate as we engaged in literally discussions, had fun-filled sessions & shopped for more books. The bonus was everyone got to go home with a mysterious book, and extra free books and other bookish swag.

It was, of course, the perfect kind of date, everyone who made it to the event loved it and it was a day well spent. Next time feel free to come and hang with us Bookish Species.

  1. Wow, this is so awesome 🙂 I can’t even imagine how you organized all this, it wasn’t easy probably! So awesome. I am always so happy to see bloggers doing such events. It’s a shame I’m so far away and can’t come 🙂

    1. It took a lot of writing down and crosschecking my checklist, and making sure everything was timely and within my budget! I didn’t think I could util I did it, so you can also do it Ava!
